Adam Pogue Indigo Mat $2,500.00

Adam Pogue is a textile artist based in Los Angeles. He began his career working in apparel and has since created his own textile appliqué language, inspired by Korean Pojagi and quilting techniques found throughout the world. Adam works with Commune on product and special projects using textile remnants and vintage fabrics that Commune finds along the way. Obi fabrics from a trip to Japan, army canvas used for upholstery, and discarded carpet and drapery are all reconfigured to create a new textile experience.

Mixed materials; washed cotton indigo fabrics, vintage cotton printed and woven scraps, born fabric, hand stitched fabrics. This mat is one of a kind, and is intended for use at the foot of a bed, the floor, or as art on the wall.
